- Budgeting and creating financial goals can actually be quite fun
- Six hours of sleep is an insufficient amount for fifth-year students and post-grads
- If you plan to live somewhere for longer than three years, it is a good idea to buy it. House hunting is dangerously addicting
- Baking requires trial and error. And a lot of patience...
- Selling to Plato's Closet can sometimes really pay out; getting $78.50 for old clothes makes for a good day!
- Bed Bath & Beyond has an excellent return policy
- The bathroom is surprisngly one of the hardest rooms to decorate (for me anyway...)
- Suitcases are the most difficult items in the house to store
- Homework makes week-night skiing practically impossible
- Left-overs are wonderful
- Getting completely moved in takes months

A Work in Progress...
We have a blog! It seemed like the logical rite of passage into the married world, so here we are sharing bits and pieces of our day-to-day with the cyberspace community. Excuse the current pathetic appearance of this blog; I'm still figuring out the ropes of html.
As Parker and I are approaching our two month anniversary we're still in the thick of organizing and getting moved into our new apartment. Parker is working 3/4 time and going to school full time in addition to loving daily P90X workouts, intramural basketball, and a season's pass to Canyons. I'm working full time and running hundreds of daily errands on top of interior decorating, surviving P90X, and continuing my quest to conquer parallel turns on the ski slopes.
Since I didn't get work off for the MLK holiday, we declared this upcoming weekend to be our fun, long weekend. Parker will be skiing in Sun Valley for a last hoorah ski trip before Madison leaves on his mission and I'll be interviewing at Pacific University for PA school. Hopefully great pictures and good news will follow....
